A Tribute to an embodiment of generosity, a Beacon of hope and a lover of humanity. It is with profound reverence and deep sorrow that I pay tribute to the late Chief Kalu Ike Kalu, an extraordinary individual whose life has left an indelible mark on mine and countless others.
As a neighbor and guardian figure, he exemplified unwavering selflessness and generosity. I vividly recall the numerous instances he ensured my punctuality for school, often extending himself beyond his means. His unrelenting dedication to my academic advancement was exemplified by his actions, such as conveying me from Asaga to Ebem Ohafia every morning and escorting me to Saint Anthony's Secondary School for my mock entrance exams without expecting any form of remuneration.
Despite his profession as a commercial driver, he chose to invest his time and resources in nurturing the futures of young minds like mine. His steadfast commitment to my academic growth underscored his fervor for empowering the next generation.
The late Chief Kalu Ike Kalu transcended the role of a neighbor; he was a mentor, a role model, and an embodiment of hope. His acts of kindness, generosity, and passion for humanity will forever be etched in my memory.
I am deeply saddened that he did not live to witness the fruits of his labor and good deeds. As we bid farewell to this remarkable individual, I pray that his legacy of kindness, compassion, and dedication to humanity will continue to inspire future generations.
Rest in peace, Nna Chief.
Jee nke oma, Papa Ike.
Lerua anya, nwoke oma ogologo kwekwe, till we meet on the resurrection morning. Your impact on my life will never be forgotten.

A tribute to my father, friend and a neighbour.
This is a painful moment.
Am writing this tribute with tears in my eyes.
You were more than a neighbour to me because you took me like your biological son. I can't forget that painful morning that you left us to meet your maker, I was called by a neighbour to come and take you to King of Kings hospital. I thought it was an ordinary sickness but when I came to your house and saw how you were breathing I became afraid but it was unfortunate that you die in my arms when we were trying to save your life. Before I could take you to the hospital bed for treatment you had already gone.all I can say at this moment is that you should rest in peace. We can't question God's decision over life for he giveth and he taketh.
Rest in peace Ezie Umu a chiomukwu.
Rest in peace The voice of the voiceless.
Rest in peace chief Kalu Ike.

TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER CHIEF KALU IKE KALU
Tributes are emotionally difficult, because words simply cannot capture an entire life lived. I won't be able to fully capture or articulate the father you truly were to me in one sweep. PAPA as I fondly called you, you were a father to me in all ramifications.Life gave me a second chance in you as my father, you were kind, caring, generous and open-minded since I knew you as father.
You never yielded any ground once you had your mind made up. You stood firmly for your convictions.I don't take for granted the laughter, smiles and the frank talks we shared. It feels devastating to be writing your tribute by this time as your sudden departure on the morning of 6th November,2025 sent a rude shock down my spine. It was indeed an unprecedented rain but what can we mortals do ? For" God has created all things, for His pleasure they are and were created"
I'm grateful for all the warm memories we shared. Iam thankful to you now and sure knew all along how much you meant to me.
REST IN PEACE PAPA
I WILL MISS YOU PAPA
Your Son.
